Sumisho Paper Co., Ltd. was established in 1978 as a trading company dealing exclusively in paper and packaging materials.
Since our foundation, we have been tackling new business ideas, not sticking to conventional concepts. One of the challenges we took on is a recycling business of paper and packaging materials. Not limiting ourselves to dealing in final paper products, we are pushing ahead with the business of handling recovered paper --- a precious resource obtained from the leftovers of our daily lives --- in order to create a stable supply of raw materials for paper manufacturers. For the last several years, we have been developing global trading businesses, and moving into world markets, mainly in East and South Asian countries including China.
