About Raw Materials for Paper Manufacturing
Our worldwide network enables us to provide a stable supply. Pulp is the raw material for all kinds of paper products. We deal with lots of suppliers in many countries, and have secured a wide variety of supply sources. We provide a stable supply of Recovered paper (Wastepaper) mainly to domestic paper mills but also to overseas paper manufacturers, contributing to society by making effective use of this raw material, now regarded by many people as a precious resource.
Pulp
Various types of pulp are selected and blended, depending on the type of final products, such as facial tissues, paper for printing, paperboard, etc. We are able to supply wide variety of pulp types, thanks to our procurement capacity and flexibility, supported by our strong network.
Recovered Paper (Waste Paper)
We entered the paper recycling business earlier than any of our competitors. In addition to ordinary trading of recovered paper, we have built a unique business structure by expanding and managing recovered paper collection businesses all around Japan, either as 100% business subsidiaries or as joint venture companies. We are at the top in this field, both in terms of the status and the volume of recovered paper handled.
